About Piglet viruses

A virus call as Worm:VBWorm.NOI or Piglet was found. It like a file with name "AVG 2007" at drive include at flash disk. Or it can be named as "W32.Piglet II.jpg"

This virus will block several function from Windows and other security tools. And it can delete several option that exists at folder option.

This virus spread by Flash Disk.
The company for anti virus, Vaksincom give a way to handle this virus:

Cut off computer from network.

Turn off autorun at your drive. It will make the virus not active when user access to every drive or flash disk.

Turn off virus process at memory. To turn off virus process, you can use other tools beside Task Manager, like Currprocess or ProceXP, than turn off process with name Notepad.scr with AVG icon.

Delete from registry all string that made by that viruses. If you have a registry backup. You can restore it.

Delete files like below (you have to go to dosprompt and then type: ATTRIB -s -h C:Windows), since this files was hidden:

- C:Desktop.ini [Disetiap Drive/Flash Disk]
- C:AVG_update_2007.exe [Disetiap Drive]

- C:update [Disetiap Drive/Flash Disk
- Folder.htt
- C:Windowsmsvbvm60.dll
- C:windowsResourcessystem.scr
- C:windowssystem32
- notepad.scr
- proposal.scr
